LO1: Target Audience
The magazine is aimed at ABC1s because it has an expensive content in it for example cars and parts of modifications for cars. People below ABC1s may still have cars but may not have ones that relate to the ones in the magazine. For example the cars in the magazine could go up to an Audi R8 or a Honda NSX, whilst the people below ABC1s might be driving a fiesta or citron saxo etc.
Typical profile
Joe, has always been interested in cars since he was younger. he works in a garage doing an apprenticeship on mechanics, Joe owns an old 1960s beetle that he works on as much as he can so he can take it too car shows when ready. Every year joe goes to about 3 or 4 car shows at least and loves them. He already buys car magazines every week and covers his walls with car posters from the magazines. His Step dad owns an old mitsubishi sports car which they work on together as a hobby and go to car shows in it. He gets inspiration from the magazines he reads and keeps them all to look back on the cars. The style of cars he is interested in is german cars and Japanese cars such as a Mazda RX7, Mitsubishi evo X or a Toyota Supra.

LO1: Identify Assets
Images
Because my magazine is themed on cars and car shows etc. The photos in the magazine will consist of old cars, new cars and shows all over the country. I will be taking the photos myself and not be taking any photos from the internet or other photographers. The photos that will feature in the magazine will be photoshopped to make the images look professional.
Content
The advertisers that would be in the magazine would be the ones best fitting and best relating to the theme of the magazine so adverts advertising garages or modifying businesses producing body kits and other parts. Also adverts for people selling specific or spare parts for the cars that would be in the magazine that are aimed at the viewers.
Layouts
The layout of the magazine will be a main front page and a back page it will the have single page adverts and some double page articles and single page articles that would consist of comparison things for example listing the best Japanese or german cars that are best to modify for the best prices and the double page article would be more of an interview layout after speaking to a person at a car show or a racer.
covers
The front cover will contain the logo of the magazine and cars that will be in the magazine, most likely the ones that I have wrote about in detail, pictures from the cars in the double page articles and possibly the drivers also. The back cover will just be a black background with the logo covering the page.

there will be a difference in articles because as i said some of them will be from an interview from someone involved with the car show scene. whilst other articles will be looking at specific cars an how to make them better whilst others might just cover one page and be a comparison between cars.
